Nominet have announced that they have reached a new milestone with the total .uk domain name registration count surpassing 8 million registrations. The milestone was reached in November this year.
The 8 millionth domain name was lambethsuperhomes.org.uk, registered by London based Lambeth Super Homes.
This new milestone indicates strong growth in the .uk domain space as the registration count has grown by 1 million registrations since August 2008 as per the Nominet statistics page.
