15 years after Korea was allocated the .kr ccTld, the National Internet Development Agency of Korea has announced the number of registrations of domains in the .kr ccTld have passed the 1 million domains mark.
According to the National Internet Development Agency, the number of domains registered with the .kr ccTld grew 7.7% from 934,000 late last year to more than one million this year.
The .kr domain name was introduced in 1993 with only 61-thousand Internet addresses using the code.
